Our journey began in 2013 in South Africa – a nation known for its rich culture and vibrant spirit (ubunthu), but also facing its share of challenges. It was here, amidst the beautiful landscapes and diverse communities, that we recognized the incredible potential that data held in shaping a brighter future for South Africa and beyond. This gave birth to AfriDATA in Ghana in 2021.
